Two major items to be discussed this month:
1. Agenda items for the upcoming World Service Business Conference.
2. We’ll continue last month’s discussion on potential WUIG programs that might help members in their personal recovery.
If you are an intergroup rep and cannot attend, pleasure ensure that an alternate attends from your meeting.
Guests are always welcome.
What is Westchester United Intergroup (WUIG)?
When several OA groups formed in our area, we soon realized that we can better perform certain together rather than separately. So the groups formed an intergroup that is directly responsible to the groups it serves. The Westchester United Intergroup arose from a need to provide service for a number of local groups and better information about OA in our community.
What is Overeaters Anonymous of Westchester and Putnam Counties of New York?
Overeaters Anonymous of Westchester and Putnam Counties of New York offers a program of recovery from compulsive eating using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA. County wide meetings and other tools provide a fellowship of experience, strength and hope where members respect one another’s anonymity. OA charges no dues or fees; it is self-supporting through member contributions.
